Not Too Early: The Art of Service

When you work in hospo, you don’t want to get up too early, so Worksmith and Turnip Media have collaborated to bring you some leaders in their fields to share their experiences and tell their stories, at a reasonable hour.

Each talk will offer a unique insight from members of and contributors to the food, drink and hospitality industries. Subjects as varied as photography, the art of service, mental health awareness and how to make mozzarella will be covered in the talks held on the first Monday of the month at 11am, starting on August 6 with The Art of Service:

  • Why does good service matter and how can you make it great every time?
  • What are keys to training staff and retaining staff?

Keynote speaker Angie Giannakodaki; Manager and owner Epocha, Carlton and Elyros, Camberwell. Almost 30 years in the hospitality industry and co-owner of two successful restaurants. Angie Giannakodakis is a master when it comes to service and front-of-house management.
