Some people would say it's lucky to be open for 22 years in Melbourne’s forever fickle dinning scene.
It’s not luck, it’s a lot of hard work and over the last 22 years Melbournians have seen restaurants come and go but Donovans has always remained.
We are thrilled to sit down with Gail Donovan as she explains how she and, her husband Kevin, built their iconic Melbourne restaurant; award-winning Donovans, St Kilda.
Much like the restaurant, Gail herself has a special place in the hearts of Melbournians her insights and anecdotes are unique and her knowledge of a forever changing industry is invaluable.
Gail is joining us on Monday April 8 at 11am to share her experiences openly and to help up-and-coming, aspiring hospitality business owners talk about what to do and what not to do in the restaurant business world.
When you work in hospo, you don’t want to get up too early, so Worksmith and Turnip Media have collaborated to bring you some leaders in their fields to share their experiences and tell their stories, at a reasonable hour.
The cost to attend a Not Too Early talk is $20 and the numbers are limited.
We’ll have tea, filter coffee and pastries from North Fitzroy’s Loafer Bread for the session.
Check out the program and join us, not too early, for the Not Too Early sessions.
